It was like two books in one, because the protagonist, an author, writes a book as she tells her story. The book she writes is an allegory that has a powerful point, but the tale itself is fairly mechanical. Angela Elwell Hunt. out of 5 stars Angela Hunt did a great job retelling the story of Joseph without getting too bogged down in technical and historical facts allowing the story to flow and the the reader to be gripped by the lives of the characters.
